Thesaurus Browser - Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions

To run Thesaurus Browser [1] (thesaurus.jar) from your hard disk, your machine must be Java enabled. Thesaurus Browser requires Java 1.5.0 or newer [2].

Install on MS Windows

Download the available installer [3] and run it.


Install on other platforms

Download thesaurus.jar [4] and store it in a directory of your choice. To launch Thesaurus Browser, from within a shell window go to this directory and give the following instruction:

    java -jar thesaurus.jar

On Mac you can also launch Thesaurus Browser by double clicking thesaurus.jar.
